Milo Otis went home with his new mom yesterday morning. My mother was good enough to drive 3 hours west to meet me and pick up little Milo so he didn’t have to be a truck kitty any longer.

Although I miss him, and really did enjoy him on the truck with me, he needed room to grow and be a kitten! He went to a great home (more than great really) and has a tons of room to run around and play like he should have.
He has already found his place at his new home where he knows he’s safe… Even if my wonderful father said they didn’t need another damn animal! My Dad tries to be a hard ass, but he’s obviously a softy!

As of this writing he has had a bath, had his ears cleaned, and seems to be settling in perfectly fine!
*I have to give a huge shout out & thank you to the Vet at Clayton Veterinarian in Clayton NM! I didn’t know anything about Milo when I threw him in Rosie and we took off for Arizona. The second morning we were gone he threw up and it was filled with worms. Yuck! Trying to get a truck close to a Vets office is sometimes impossible, but after calling and speaking with the very nice fellow, he told me I was able to pull right into the parking lot in Clayton and get Milo fixed right up. They were waiting at the door for us when we pulled in! But then I’m sure not many kittens show up in a Peterbilt these days!
I should have known better, since he was so skinny but I’ve never dealt with worms before. Milo is still just barely weighing in at a pound, but in the 6 days we were on the road he started filling in and is on the mend!
I will put up more updates as I get them from my parents!
Thank you Mom & Dad! How lucky can a kitten who has been thrown to the side get?

Awww, what a great story. Milo is one lucky little cat.
Great story! What a very lucky little kitten. I look forward to updates when you have time. I imagine Milo Otis is going to grow into a very special kitty.
