So the past couple of weeks I have been lucky enough to visit and love up Milo Otis (and then some!). He is a happy, healthy boy who is spoiled beyond spoiled!
He was out on the deck when I took this so the photo isn’t the greatest. When Milo wants to come in or go out, he now sits like a bunny rabbit as if to be noticed more. It is kind of funny since Milo does not meow. He opens his mouth, but nothing comes out, unless he really wants something, and then a very faint squeak comes out. He has been this way since I found him, for some reason.
He loves to play, and jumping on my head while I was trying to sleep was “fun” for him although I did not find the humor in it! And of coarse after he had me awake and I had played with him for a bit he was happy to curl up next to me and go to sleep!
I still can’t believe how grown up he is, and how healthy he has become in the months since I found him laying in front of our barn! If you don’t know who Milo Otis is you can read about him and his life here!
Milo seems to be more like a dog than a cat at this point. He is always interested in what you are doing and right there, usually underfoot to check out whatever you may have in hand.

we once adopted a young kitten from a neighbor boy. we saw him outside playing with a kitten and later on it was not with him; ……..we did hear a faint meow from the neigbor yard and i figured out he had buried the kitten alive. i went over and unburied her and took the kitten for my own. i dared him and his mother to call the police to tell them i had stolen the kitten. anyway…..she (nermal) never made much of a sound after being buried alive. not sure if it ruined her little voice box or throat or what. she was a very beautiful cat and lived for quite awhile. hoping a much long life for your milo after a difficult start to life like my nermal. we named her nermal because the other four cats we had adopted from one bad situtation or another… did not like her at all. if you have read the garfield comic strip, you will remember nermal. garfield did not like her at all and was continuously trying to box her up and mail her somewhere.
Aw thanks for posting updates on Milo.. I’ve treasured every photo!
