What My Day Sounds Like

I’m finally back out on the road today and of coarse have the tunes cranked WAY up. I thought I would share just a little of what I’ve been listening to today, since I have over 1600 tunes on my ipod.

What do you listen to when you’re trucking, heading home from work, or at home?

Give me some ideas! I’m always looking for something else to pull me down the highway at a high rate of fuel consumption!

Bethany About Bethany

I am a prisoner of the highway, farmer and lover of Mother Nature, the moon and stars, my long and low, flat-top Peterbilt, chickens, cats, dogs, horses, cooking, photography, tattoos, tea pots and vintage barnifacts…among other things. I’m also a very, happily married, third-generation truck driver. My career choice is both demanding and rewarding, just like most things in life that are truly good.

Do you have Metallica’s version of Turn The Page on there?

Silence, unless I happen to have a good audio book. I use music to get me through the sleepy moments…I turn it on and sing along (badly) and it keeps me alert enough to find a parking spot :)

Beth, I’m a music lover to no end…I reference every aspect of my life! I’ve been in a funct for the last few months, and have been doing a lot of thinking…Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Jason Aldean have been getting a lot of air play on my rides! As much as I love my rock music too, when I need to chill, and sort things out, I gotta go back to my roots, and kick some country!

I probably got close to 3000 songs on my Ipod. I got everything from AC/DC to Hank Williams Sr. to Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin. I’m really into Texas-country or red-dirt music but I like to have a variety for whatever mood I’m in and I’m always searching for new bands or new sound that might appeal to me….gotta love the internet for that & who can’t love a Sirius satellite radio.
