As busy as the last month or two has been for me, I’ve truly been trying to keep up with daily life, and honestly, it has NOT been going well. Between canning, trucking, more canning, and taking care of my animals when home, my days have been whizzing by so damn quick I don’t know if I’m coming or going.
Then, to top it off, I was asked to try a new hair conditioner by Dove, and I thought I would to tell all of you about it. If you’re interested, in return for your checking out their product, you will not only be given a coupon off your purchase of their product, but a chance to enter a sweepstake which holds a prize for a $1,000 SpaFinder gift card, doesn’t, that sounds like fun?
Now, here’s what I thought about the product. I’m a pretty natural gal. I make my own soap, and generally use pure ingredient shampoos and conditioners if not using the soap I make myself. The biggest reason I do not use a lot of store-bought products is because the scent is usually way too strong for me, or it sticks with me for the whole day, and every time I turn my head; I smell my hair. And I generally smell it because I don’t like the smell. And later I wonder if everyone else can smell me. And after that I get paranoid. And subsequently, finally I quit using said shampoo or conditioner.
The Dove Conditioner thankfully did not stick with me, although it was a bit stronger than I prefer. And it did make my hair nice and shiny, but my problem was that it was so heavy for my hair (I have a lot of hair, but it’s baby-fine) I really couldn’t style it. Now all you gals out there with hair like a horse’s mane well, I hate you, and I’m green with envy, but this would work great for you.
It moisturized my hair beautifully, which will come in handy this winter because Dove Advanced Conditioners are touted to give added nourishment to repair dry and rough hair.

LOL, there are always things (rules & regulations) that are required by one to read, whether its related to trucking or not!! And although, I have naturally curly hair, I prefer to wear it straight an short. Of course, it doesn’t stay that way once it gets rained on . . . it turns into a “S.O.S.” pad!! It doesn’t look pretty to have a white trucker w/red hair an its turned into a affro!!
Thank you I will be checking this out, as I love their new deodorant that they have out!
What is the bloggers question that I have to answer on the sweepstakes entry form?
