Home Again, Home Again

Before I get into the farm stuff I wanted to say a quick thank you to a few people who have given One Girl Trucking a mention on their websites in the last couple of weeks! I want you to know I appreciate the mention and I hope you dear readers check them and their efforts out!

Tacoblog featured One Girl Trucking here for my video in New Mexico

One Girl Trucking was featured on YTTrucking for video of the week

One Girl Trucking was also featured in Truckers News here way at the bottom about trucking networks.

It’s starting to look a lot like Minnesota!

I’m always met by the welcoming committee when I get home. I like to think they are happy to see me, but in reality they just want to eat the bugs on my bumper and any roadkill I may have sticking to my mud flaps! All you hear for a good 15 minutes after shutting Rosie off is ping, ping, ping, ping…. Beaks hitting fuel tanks, mud flaps, and bumpers! Yum!

I am always amazed when I’ve been gone a week how green everything gets so quickly around here! Mowing season is about to begin!

I’m off for a week, so hopefully I will have some time to devote here…. in between cooking, entertaining my mother and father in law, gardening, cleaning chicken coops, planting trees, going to see my ailing grandmother and well you get the picture!

Have a great Saturday!

What a beautiful post! Love the pictures, chickens are so cool to have greet you. Haven’t had any for a year since my mother who lives here wouldn’t be able to care for them while we were OTR.

    Enjoy your hometime,

    Kathleen

Chickens are just so funny! My sister has a hen who wanted chicks so bad and for whatever reason didn’t hatch her own. Another hen hatched four chicks and this hen promptly stole two of them! At least she was fair about her thievery, I guess… she only took half… lol
