Dove Conditioner-Sponsored Post

As busy as the last month or two has been for me, I've truly been trying to keep up with daily life, and honestly, it has NOT been going well. Between canning, trucking, more canning, and taking care of my animals when home, my days have been whizzing by so damn quick I don't know if I'm coming or going. Then, to top it off, I was asked to try a new hair conditioner by Dove, and I thought I would to tell all of you about it. If you're interested, in return for your checking out their product, you will not only be

Motorcyclists Use Common Sense (and Courtesy)

Dad & I

The trip home this past week was almost a completely relaxing ride for a holiday weekend. Almost. That is until 2 motorcyclists tried getting themselves killed using Rosie and I as the vehicle. Before I go into my whole rant here I will say that I have been on bikes since I was big enough to hang on behind my dad. By age 12 I was riding dirt bikes all over the countryside, and by the time I was 15 or so, I was taking my dad's '84 Softail with his permission of coarse (and to my Mothers dismay) on rides down our country

Not a Fairy Tale, But Close

A while back I was sent a message that questioned my FB page and my website for how I promote One Girl Trucking. This person thought I was pulling the wool over you, my readers eyes. This person also thinks that I am filling you all full of a bunch of B.S and that in fact I do not live a fairy-tale life. I wasn’t even going to bother with this, but just like this post I kind of get a kick out of people asking and saying stupid things, and since I’m usually stuck in my truck and no one can hear my swear words and rude

I Lost It All. Sort Of

Uh... I thought I was doing SO good this morning. I have time today so I was quickly zipping through my MacKeeper app cleaning things up a bit on my computer this morning. And then I did something wrong. I lost it all, sort of. All my zillions of photos, documents, videos, quickbooks files for both my business & Hubs gone. Gone. Gone. Now I'm slowly trying to recoup what I lost... Anyway, today is the first day of Nablopomo and I have joined to try to hone my writing skills and keep me going! If your interested in

Really? What The Hell Is Wrong With People?

Photo credit: Jesus needs new PR I cannot say I'm religious. I don't swing any one way really. I would say I'm a dukes mixture of Catholic which I was raised on, Buddhist, and Pagan. Since I was told by my Lutheran pastor (I married into the religion) that I could not go pray in my field next to my house the same as I could in church I'm a bit against religion. Actually, when it comes right down to religion, I am more against the hypocrites than anything or anyone else, but that's just me. Anyhow, that is neither here

Taking Care of Yourself 101

The last couple weeks have been rough on me. Thursday things got even worse with Rosie and I have been in a fog ever since. Honestly, I think I've been on auto pilot for a few weeks now and Thursday just lambasted me. Since then I've just been going through the motions. This afternoon I finally got up and decided to take care of myself instead of worrying about trucks. When I was running my soap company I was always making healthy goodies for "me" time. Sadly though, even though I still stick close to organic and
