Some days I just feel like wandering When I have these feelings, I take in everything around me as if I was a sponge. I wish I could explain it, but on these days I feel like everything is so new, and I am in awe of the world around me. Even the rain storms & snow I woke to was welcome sight. If I could urge you all to do one thing, it would be to slow down a bit and look at the world around you. It truly is magical.
I get a lot of questions about what kind of camera I use. I am always so glad to hear that people like my photos, but I promise it is not because of my camera or even more importantly ME—I think for the most part it is the lens I'm using, lighting and the scenery around me. It's been over a year since I took a trip west. I ended up with a nice little run that I did in 5 days, which took me out to Idaho and back home again. My route was set so that I delivered first in Casper WY then off to Riverton WY and my last stop was in Blackfoot ID. I then reloaded in Twin Falls ID and enjoyed the trip immensely. I really never had any intention of posting this anywhere. BUT, seeing Hubs and I don't get to run together as much as we would like I thought I'd take video. This is a short trip across HWY 60 in Arizona just west of Show Low. The ride I'm about to take you on is just the tip of the iceberg for what you can and will see on HWY 60. It's beautiful country! For a trucker I think, with a loaded wagon HWY 60 is a lot of work and you had best be prepared and know your truck, how to handle it, and what lies ahead. Sometime when I have the chance I will video more of the ride. By the time I got into most of the pulling/downhill grades I had lost most of my light.
