Do you ever have days, weeks, months where you just figure you should have stayed in bed? This has been on of those weeks for me. First I lost my turbo Friday afternoon, which put me behind the eight ball for having a somewhat leisurely ride out west. That was fine, I put my nose to the grindstone and kept at it arriving just in time for the most hellacious storm Arizona has had all winter long. The signs were in the sky, I knew the weather was going to get shitty, I just didn't figure on it getting this
As you know if you read One Girl Trucking very often, Hubs and I try to do our own truck repairs as much as possible. It always saves a ton of money which in this industry especially, where the price of everything has gone up except of coarse the rate of pay to haul the freight. It is a good practice to get into if you are going to own your own truck and even if you're a company driver having a little knowledge may just get you safely off the side of the road. A few weeks ago I made a trip down to Texas. Everything
It's been over a year since I took a trip west. I ended up with a nice little run that I did in 5 days, which took me out to Idaho and back home again. My route was set so that I delivered first in Casper WY then off to Riverton WY and my last stop was in Blackfoot ID. I then reloaded in Twin Falls ID and enjoyed the trip immensely. I was even lucky enough to get to run on some roads that I had never been on before, so it was a real treat! Here are some hood shots of the trip! This was on the edge of the Grand Teton
What a trip last week was! Of coarse as per my usual luck I run smack dab into the last storm that rolled across the U.S. and had to ride it out from Nogales AZ back home to Minnesota. I think I had about 150 miles of good road on the way home and that was it. The sky still held me captive, as well as all the bad drivers~! The trip home was much more treacherous than going down. Please excuse my dirty windows!
When I left Minnesota on Tuesday the weather was cold and snowy. I wasn't sure what I would run into on my way to Arizona this week, but I lucked out and had beautiful views. The colors in the sky were amazing, and held my attention the whole way here. All of these photos are SOC (straight out of the camera) The photos were taken from Nebraska to Arizona. Anyone know where this was taken? It should be familiar to some drivers for sure. I could wake up to the views every morning~
This one reminds me of a horse I use to own...;) I see this photo, and all I can do is ask myself why I live in Minnesota? But, then maybe I would be taking spectacular pictures of Minnesota rather than Arizona... This didn't turn out how I had hoped, but I love it just the same... As for what city it is, I have no idea!

Just some beautiful views for you! Hope your all having a wonderful Sunday~ xoxo
New Mexico, HWY 54 One thing that I wish I could do more with a truck is stop. Some days there just isn't a place to stop and explore places like this. Somewhere in New Mexico. The roads go on forever, and the eye is never bored. I just thought this building was cool. So southwestern, but now I forget the town or state I found it in!
