Basil Pesto

It tis the season of the garden! I have spent my spring bent over pulling weeds, and now the fruits of my labor are finally showing! Last night I canned a dozen jars of basil pesto. Usually I am making arugula pesto, but this year my basil is going great guns and I think I may be over run with the stuff!
