This morning I feel as if I didn’t rest at all. I’m guessing it was because of the nightmare I had. I don’t have typical dreams it seems. Seeing as I have lived in a truck for so many years my dreams/nightmares tend to revolve around trucks & trucking. When I have nightmares, I don’t have the normal falling to the ground nightmares where you wake just before you hit the ground, rather I have nightmares of Rosie and me tipping over on some mountainside, to which I always wake just before she hits the ground,

I found this cute little owl- the burrowing owl, in Desert Hot Springs. He was as interested in me and I was him which I thought was cool. I took this shot from in my cab, but when I would get out of the truck he would jump behind the curb he was standing on and squat down to watch me. When I'd get back into my truck he'd jump back up on the curb. Highway 274 south of Barstow Highway 101-- It's a beautiful ride if you ever get the chance.
