Life is busy. Right? It seems as if I haven't ever a chance to just slow down any more, how about you? Luckily I did sit for a few moments yesterday evening. I even spied on my bossy house wren whom gives me a good scolding every time I go out onto our deck. I only saw one mouth chirping & bossily telling mom s/he was hungry but one was enough, and it sure looked like Momma couldn't keep up or keep baby happy! Growing Up

I see life here on the farm at a week at a time, but those are always staggered by a week in Rosie, that takes me away from the action. The growing. The change. Just a few weeks ago they were babies. But then, after one week gone my babies look like mini full grown hens. I am in love with them all, but the Buff Orpingtons I just want to hug and squeeze since they are so fluffy and squeezy looking. Henrietta is another favorite of mine. There are people on vacation. There are people that want to go on vacation but can't. You may be on vacation even as you read this. For me though, since I drive my life away I am very happy to be planted on my own soil. Sometimes though, I work too hard and keep too busy to really enjoy my home time as much as I should.
