Good morning! I was lucky enough to be home last night for the storm that rolled through our area. We didn't end up with much rain, but the lightning and thunder was awesome!
I may look like it, but I am NOT your average girl next door

New Mexico, HWY 54 One thing that I wish I could do more with a truck is stop. Some days there just isn't a place to stop and explore places like this. Somewhere in New Mexico. The roads go on forever, and the eye is never bored. I just thought this building was cool. So southwestern, but now I forget the town or state I found it in!

I hope I don't burn you guys out on duck pictures! I'm somewhat in love with these guys this year! I have to start with the feet... I'll work my way up. I can't help it, they are just so dang cute! Hubs ran the water hose for the ducks on Friday. When I came upon the scene they were having a ball! I don't think I've ever seen this far into a ducks mouth before!

I broke my camera a little over a week ago... I had sent it into Canon and got it back on Monday, and even after admitting I did the breaking, they charged me nothing... And now that it's back, all is right with the world, so I've been giving it a work out today! The boys and girls are starting to venture out a bit more... And I say starting because I thought I could get them over to the grove where the chickens hang out. It didn't work. They got as far as our hydrant and like a herd of sheep turned on me, running over

I loaded onions in New Mexico on Monday. Of coarse I had washed Rosie, so the weather had to get all funky while I sat there. It rained and lightninged, thundered, and then this amazing sunset happened. So even though I had to get Rosie's tires dirty and she now had water spots all over her, it was worth it. Before the storm it was hot and muggy out. And for some reason, this tractor held my attention as I sat there sweating, hoping they would load me so I could get the heck out of dodge before said rain storm. It just

One thing I love about summer is summer food. Because I'm trucking a good share of the time, and because we spend a huge amount of time out of doors when I'm home, I love to make meals that are quick, yet good for you. My all time favorite is a cucumber sandwich. It's light, cool, and will not heat up your kitchen. You'll have to bare with me in the picture department as I broke my camera and have to use my point and shoot, which is just a real pain in the arse! But, hopefully you get the picture anyway! Hubs and I

The weather was interesting the last couple of weeks. Stormy in many parts of Nebraska and Kansas (Above: The Great Platte River Road Archway Monument) It made for an interesting ride. Luckily I made it home in one piece, just missing this tornado by an hour last night in Wadena MN. Hubs kept calling me and texting me telling me to get home and to be careful.... Neither one of us knew anything like this would happen. I have a bit of video I'm working on of the skies that I saw on my way up to Wadena. Luckily I was

Sorry I've been away so long. I've been working pretty hard as of late, and haven't had much time but for work and sleep! I'm back though, and first off I'd like to share a little road trip for your Friday- especially if your stuck at a desk. Take a quick little ride through Houston Texas with me! Enjoy~
A few things this week and Nogales is on the bottom of my list! Since I've had a shit load of time on my hands today I thought I'd share some of the loving with you! Lara bars were suggested to me by Annabelle and I just had to try them. Actually I think I ordered them the very same day she told me about them! If you want something sweet but good for you, these are it! They have a TON of flavors for every- body. I think it took me like an hour to choose which flavor I was going to get! Really, I'm a terrible decision
