Some days I just feel like wandering When I have these feelings, I take in everything around me as if I was a sponge. I wish I could explain it, but on these days I feel like everything is so new, and I am in awe of the world around me. Even the rain storms & snow I woke to was welcome sight. Fort Randall Church

Although I try, it doesn't always happen that I am able to get out and see something when trucking. On my way up to Jamestown ND last week I thought I would stop and go for a walk around the grounds of the Fort Randall Church which is located next to the Missouri river in South Dakota. A Quick Trip West

It's been over a year since I took a trip west. I ended up with a nice little run that I did in 5 days, which took me out to Idaho and back home again. My route was set so that I delivered first in Casper WY then off to Riverton WY and my last stop was in Blackfoot ID. I then reloaded in Twin Falls ID and enjoyed the trip immensely. More Winter Blues…

I'm en-route to Los Angeles, but stuck in South Dakota because of white out conditions. Accuweather had a post up today saying that this winter could possibly be the worst in 25 years. At this point I believe it, and I'm not feeling all that lucky I'm stuck in it. I'm down on the south west corner of South Dakota on HWY 18 and 73. Red means roads are closed.
