If you peruse this here website even a little you know that I love where I live and that I adore our farm. I suppose I am a walking contradiction, since I always want to be home, just as much as I want to be out on the road trucking. It’s that time of year again! My garlic is growing great guns and I was just out in my garden enjoying a little quiet time snapping off the squiggly garlic scapes growing out of my garlic so the energy is focused back towards the garlic. Last March, while I was waiting for Rosie to be rebuilt (for the second time) I needed something to do with myself! Rather than sitting on the couch in a depressed state, I decided I was going to build raised beds for my garden. Our soil is not the healthiest, and it has been a real headache trying to correct it.
